“A Prayer for the Lost” – This was the first artwork I did for the calendar. I originally had created it for the Christian Metal Realm’s Deliverance Tribute CD, titled “Temporary Insanity”, but it was rejected. With this one, I was trying to depict the errancy of the unbeliever, in thinking that they can avert the inevitable damnation of their soul. The monk represents a Christian who is praying for their salvation.
And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing.
The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see
the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
