Tracy Ferrie played on “Murder By Pride”. Timothy Gaines wasn’t part of the group at the time of recording. He joined up to do the tour with Tracy playing as well. They were going to play two sets. One of old material with Timothy and one of newer material with Tracy. Tracy dropped out because of work commitments and such. So far there is no “official” word from the Stryper camp as to the future of the two bassists. There are rumors of course.

i wanna know what happen to timothy gaines is he still with the group, did he play any of the songs from murder by pride

Hey Jesse, Robert didn't play on any of the tracks. Official word is that he could not make it out Boston to record, so they got a studio musician (Kenny Aronoff ) to fill in. You can read more about Kenny here: Kenny Aronoff Bio Robert is touring with them tho. I got to see them last month. Awesome show.

You don’t make mention of it in your review but is it true that Robert Sweet did not play the majority of drums on this album? I love his drum playing and it certainly sounds like him which adds and makes it (for me) a classic Stryper album but I was surprised to hear he didn’t play much in it, if at all. Can you give me the scoop? Awesome album by the way.
